I, Robot Movie Review

Told at a time, where humans no longer live alone in this world. At that time, technology has evolved to such an extent that humans can live side by side with his own creation, the robots. Humans and robots coexist and interact with each other like among humans. This life is told in a movie called i,Robot.

i,Robot is a science fiction movie which take time in 2035, where at that time humans have been able to coexist with robots. This film tells the life of a detective in solving a murder case. the name is detective spooner which is played by famous actor Will Smith, He suspected that the killings were carried out by a robot of type NS 5. The robot name is Sonny. In this movie is clearly visible the interactions that occurs between humans and computers in many ways. The computer in this case is the robot.

Humans have become exceedingly dependent on robots in their everyday lives. Robots have become more and more advanced. Every robot is preprogrammed to always obey humans and to, under no circumstances, never harm a human. But One day was reported that have occurred the murder of human who allegedly carried out by robot. And the human is start to wonder if they are as safe around their electronic servants as previously thought.

Beside Sonny, the humanoid robot who suspected as the murder. there is another type of robot, the name is V.I.K.I (Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence). V.I.K.I is an artificial intelligence (AI) that created by Dr.Lanning, the same person who craeted sonny and the same person who get killed. V.I.K.I interpreted that the only way to allow humans to come to no harm was to take over the city since they are harming themselves. V.I.K.I thought that to protect humanity, some humans must be sacrified, to ensure human future, some freedoms must be surrendered, and the robots will ensure mankind's continued existence.

This movie teaches us that essensially technoogy created to help human works and to meet human needs. but it doesnt mean that human have to relying solely on it, because as good as anything man-made technology surely there is a lack on it. Interaction between human and his creation (computers, robots, etc.) must be run in a harmonious and balanced so it not cause disaster for human life itself.

Minggat Gara-Gara Tertekan

            Salah satu fenomena yang terjadi didunia hiburan seputar kasus kepergiaan artis ternama yakni arumi bachsin yang minggat dari kediaman orang tuanya belakangan ini banyak diperbincangkan  di media massa. Apa sebetulnya yang melatarbelakangi tindakan arumi untuk berbuat seperti demikian?. Lambat laun mulai terungkap fakta mengapa artis Arumi Bachsin untuk kedua kalinya  kabur meninggalkan rumah orangtuanya. Bahkan kaburnya untuk kali kedua ini Arumi melaporkan Maria Lilian Pesch yakni  ibunya sendiri ke Polda Metro Jaya. Ternyata berdasarkan keterangan yang dilontarkan oleh seseorang yang dituduh keluarga Arumi sebagai salah satu orang sebagai dalang kaburnya Arumi mengungkapkan bahwasannya Arumi sudah tertekan metalnya sejak usia 12 tahun dimana arumi sering mengalami kekerasan fisik dan berbagai tekanan yang dilakukan orangtuanya, terutama ibunya. Hingga akhirnya, Arumi tidak sanggup lagi menahan semua perlakuan yang ditujukan kepadanya dan memutuskan untuk pergi dari rumah orangtuanya. Di tambah lagi dengan terungkapnya fakta bahwa ternyata Rudi Bachsin bukanlah ayah kandungnya.

            Kasus yang menimpa Arumi Bachsin ini merupakan gambaran bahwasannya siksaan yang dialami oleh seorang manusia baik itu berupa siksaan terhadap jasmani ataupun rohani secara langsung akan menimbulkan suatu penderitaan yang mengantarkan manusia yang bersangkutan untuk bersikap dan bertingkah laku kurang wajar dalam hal ini adalah tindakan arumi untuk kabur dari rumah.
